Our scope of work included: plan review, schedule preparation, proposal review, subcontractor selection and project oversight.

Construction Clubs & Summer Camp:
Middle School Construction Careers Outreach Program
November 10, 2011, Cincinnati, OH - In June 2011, DFS partnered with The Southwest Ohio Region Workforce Investment Board's (SWORWIB) Build Your Future Program. We provided both labor and material donation in support of their 2010-2011 Summer Camp.
Build Your Future is a middle school outreach program that exposes students to the rewards of a career in construction and stresses the importance of good math and language skills, and the necessity of graduating from high school.
It is setup as an 8 week after-school Construction club where students work on everything from site preparation to mixing concrete and pouring the foundation, building a brick wall, constructing a frame wall, pipefitting for electrical and plumbing work, wiring, drywalling and painting.
A total of 167 sixth, seventh, and eight graders participated this year.
