GENERAL CONSTRUCTION

DFS is a prime contractor with the US Small Business Administration in the SBA 8(a) program. We provide construction services for all types of commercial, office, retail, health care, call and data centers, education, industrial, and hospitality projects. Our extensive experience in every aspect of the construction process from the project conception through project completion offers a multi-disciplined blend of services to our clients. Our managers, schedulers, and estimators, perform at the highest level of professionalism in cooperation with the owner, architect, pre-construction team, engineers and subcontractors.

Our goal for each project is to exceed expectation in the area of on-time, on-budget in a safe working environment. Experience has taught us to examine all options and strive for the most cost-effective method of construction without sacrificing quality or service.

Performance

DFS will provide an on-site Field Supervisor and Project Manager on every project. Our preference is to use our own labor force, particularly components such as demolition, drywall/metal studs, doors and hardware, miscellaneous metal/steel and carpentry. This ensures qualified labor, specialized equipment, and builds our experience and expertise into the project. It also reduces the chance of mistakes causing re-work and project delays which could impact the critical path schedule.

DFS can provide custom metal fabrication and installation services for a wide range of commercial and industrial projects. This includes custom stairs, railings, guardrails, pipe racks, equipment platforms, ladders, and catwalks. We can deliver light steel structures and structural steel framing material.

National Coverage

DFS is affiliated with one of the largest and most successful commercial building products distributors in the United States. This relationship allows us to provide tremendous value to our clients. In addition, DFS is a member of a national commercial roofing services provider. This allows us to provide emergency roofing repairs, maintenance and re-roofing services around the country. We can provide specialty projects that require nationwide labor availability in construction and roofing. We offer a one stop resource with national coverage for our clients, with DFS and a local member partner handling the request.
